Antique wooden violin-shaped guéridon (also called violin or fantasy table), which closely resembles furniture from the 19th-century Napoleon III period.
The tabletop has a wavy, organic shape reminiscent of a violin.
The top shows signs of use in the form of a ring.
In the center is a richly turned baluster column with graceful woodcarving.
The base rests on four curved, outward-extending legs.

At the bottom there is a metal and wooden locking mechanism by which the top can be tilted or folded flat.
