Description from the seller
MINOLTA HI-MATIC 7s, tested and working.
Hello from Japan!
We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world.
The Minolta Hi-Matic 7s is a 35mm coupled-rangefinder camera released in 1966 as an improved version of the popular Hi-Matic 7. It features a sharp Rokkor-PF 45mm f/1.8 lens of six elements in five groups and Minolta's Contrast Light Compensator (CLC) metering, which uses two CdS cells in series for better results in high-contrast scenes. The leaf shutter offers speeds from 1/4 to 1/500 plus Bulb, with both fully automatic and manual exposure control. A hot shoe and the bright lens make it a well-regarded everyday rangefinder built in Japan.
Condition: Used — Excellent
Pre-owned, heavy signs of use
Serial Number
Please check the photo.
Appearance
Very clean, with only light marks. Please check the photos.
Optical Condition
Lens / Sensor: Clear, no issues
Functional
The camera operates properly. Shutter measured 1/73 at the 1/60 setting — within tolerance.
The meter responds correctly.
Measured Performance
We check these cameras on a shutter tester rather than by ear, and we publish what we measured:
- 1/60 — measured 1/73 s (approx. 0.3 stop fast)
Negative film has enough latitude to absorb deviations of this size, but the figures are here so you can judge for yourself.
Servicing
This camera was serviced by us before listing:
- Viewfinder cleaned internally
- Light seals (foam) replaced
Bundled Items
Only what you can see in the pictures will be included in the package.
Important Notes for Used Items
