Description from the seller
Paleolithic chopping tool made from flint. Originating from the vicinity of Ouarzazate in the southern part of Morocco, where many findings from the early Acheulean are known. These early chopping tools were made by a form of Homo Erectus.
Dimensions: 110 x 88 mm
Very beautiful patina and signs of use.
In perfect condition, no restorations.
Each sold item/lot will be provided with an authenticity certificate.
Provenance/origin:
The seller can demonstrate that the lot was legally obtained.
The lot is from a Belgian collection.
