Vase - Gilt brass, Gilt bronze

The displayed vase is a neo-classical decorative vase (often referred to as an amphora or cassolette) crafted in patinated bronze and brass, decorated with characteristic goat heads (faun/Bacchus motifs), garlands, and acanthus leaves.
The estimated age of this vase is the late 19th century or early 20th century.
These vases were frequently made in France and Italy during the Napoleon III period and the late 19th-century neostyles (such as Neo-Renaissance and Neoclassicism). Material: chiselled brass and bronze with a gold-colored or lightly patinated surface.

The lower piece shows signs of wear.
The components are screwed and gilt bronze.
