Description

Charming decorative set consisting of four pieces of English porcelain, gathered around delightful floral and bird motifs with gilding:

– a large, hollow Royal Albert platter, iconic Old Country Roses model, in English Bone China, scalloped edge accented with gold – diameter: 28 cm;
– a bulbous teapot with lid, adorned with a rich pink-and-gold design depicting a bird among scrolling flowers;
– a large footed cup, decorated with an exotic bird flying over a fruit basket;
– a May-edition footed cup, decorated with a bouquet of lily-of-the-valley and bearing the inscription “May” on the interior.

A particularly decorative set, in soft, bright colours, evoking all the charm of English tables. The different pieces can be displayed together in a display cabinet or used separately.

The platter bears the Royal Albert mark “Old Country Roses – Bone China – England.” Any other possible marks are shown in the photographs.

Good overall condition. Some light signs of use and small gilding wear may be observed, in keeping with the age of the pieces. Please carefully review the photographs, which are an integral part of the description.
