The specimen mounts the acclaimed standard Olympus OM-System MC Zuiko Auto-S 50mm f/1.8 lens, renowned for its sharpness and the excellent contrast guaranteed by the multicoating (MC).

The lot is presented in generally good vintage condition, with normal signs of use consistent with the object's age, and it has been tested and is functional, complete with its original instruction manual and the original front lens cap.

Optics: The Olympus Zuiko 50mm f/1.8 lens features intact lenses and free of surface scratches or hazing. A slight speck behind the inner lens is noted, a completely physiological characteristic for vintage optics that does not affect in any way the rendering or the quality of the shot. The diaphragm ring and the focusing ring move regularly.

Mechanical and Electronics: Tested and working. The electronic shutter fires regularly at various speeds, the exposure meter circuits in automatic and manual modes respond correctly to changes in light, and the film advance and rewind mechanisms are operational.
