The most common colors of bug eyes were orange, white, yellow, brown, blue, and green. For a special edition, Massive Belgium produced this exceptional beige, which makes the lamp very unique.
There is still no certainty whether these spectacular lamps are attributed to designer Luigi Colani or whether they were inspired by the Futuro house designed by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen.
The plastic lamp is in reasonable condition. The globe has no cracks but has spots and scratches. The eyes are dark-smoked and hazy due to scratches but not distracting. The signs of aging give this 60-year-old lamp even more character.
