Extremely beautiful and authentic ceramic vase in cobalt blue with detailed floral relief, manufactured by the renowned French master potter Paul Schmitter in Betschdorf (Alsace, France).

Paul Schmitter is part of the famous potter family Schmitter, active in Betschdorf (Alsace, France) since 1844. Betschdorf has for centuries been known for its traditional salt-glazed stoneware (grès au sel). The Schmitter family has run one of the most prominent workshops there for generations (including the well-known Poterie Fortuné Schmitter).

The vase is in very good condition with no cracks or restorations.
