LE KLINT – Set of 2 Hybrid Candelabras – Brushed aluminum – Denmark – 1990s
Special and original set of two vintage LE KLINT candelabras, manufactured in Denmark and dating from circa the 1990s.
LE KLINT is one of the best-known names in Danish design and has become famous for its iconic hand-folded lampshades. These candelabras show a different side of the brand: clean, functional and typically Scandinavian minimalist design.
The special feature of this model is the clever hybrid and reversible design. The candelabras can be used in two ways: on one side as a holder for a traditional dinner candle and, when turned over, with the wide goblet-shaped side as a holder for a tealight.
The elegant form consists of a tall, slightly tapering stem that flows into a wide bowl. The brushed aluminum gives the candelabras a restrained industrial look and ensures they fit well within both a Classic Scandinavian Modern and a contemporary minimalist interior.
Both pieces still feature the original round factory label with the characteristic folded LE KLINT lamp motif and the text:
