Splendid pair of tripod copper cauldrons with rich decoration on the feet depicting griffin faces.
With an original wrought-iron handle.
The result of foundry work, an example of Italian artisanal craftsmanship from the 19th and 20th centuries.
Probably used in the past for cooking over the fireplace (N.B. their usability for cooking cannot be guaranteed; they are sold as decorative elements), today they are stunning objects of furnishing, in good aesthetic condition.
Approximately 25.5 cm tall including the feet and excluding the handle, with an opening (mouth) of about 17.5 cm.
N.B. Given their age they are in preservation state more than good;
N.B. some scratches and small signs of oxidation (as in the photo);
N.B. Refer to the photos for the actual condition of the object.
