Magnificent rare iconic object from the“trench craftsmanship” art, made by a “poilu” soldier, a World War I biplane aircraft 1914-1918.

Entirely made of brass with salvaged parts taken from ammunition shells or other sources. A stand was later designed to display the plane. It will be included with the sale. The plane may have detached from the stand due to a small screw. The screw causes no damage to the plane.

The plane appears to be in good condition, please take a close look at the photos. Beautiful unusual piece charged with history.
