A refined vintage pitcher/decanter dating from the second half of the 20th century, crafted by Italian silversmiths featuring a fine mouth-blown clear crystal body and 800 solid silver mounts.
Crystal Body: Bulbous/pumpkin-shaped structure with vertical ribbed carving (rigadin style), designed to catch and reflect light to highlight the contents.
800 Silver Mounts: Finished with chased and embossed classic/Baroque-style relief work. Features the 800 silver hallmark and the "ITALY" stamp engraved on the inner lid tab.
Lid and Finial: Hinged lid with raised leaf motifs, topped with a finial knob.
Collar and Spout: Connecting band and spout adorned with embossed floral frills and stylized fleur-de-lis motifs over a stippled background.
Handle: Solid silver loop handle decorated with fluid acanthus scrollwork.
Condition: In excellent vintage condition. The crystal is fully intact with no chips, cracks, or clouding; the silver retains its original luster with a light natural patina.
