Description from the seller

Comò with mirror Italia, circa 1930s
Return to Verona

Four-drawer dresser with mirror; typical "bedroom furniture" from the interwar period. Solid walnut and walnut veneering (veneer) on a cheaper wooden frame. Central rectangular mirror; inlaid geometric decoration (stylized diamond and striped line inlay) on the upper crosspiece — a motif typical of 1920s-30s Deco/eclectic taste.
Dresser body: four drawers with metal (probably burnished brass/pewter) pull handles and hinges, upper surface in polished walnut, slightly splayed legs.
Condition: fair; a functional piece, not restored. Cracks and fissures on the sides and back, small veneer separations on the edges, wear marks on the top and on the false doors, a visible gap between the upper drawers.
Overall solid and functional, but in need of conservative restoration (filling, securing veneer, possible polishing) to be best appreciated.
Craftsman’s work (likely local/provincial), not signed industrial manufacture — the workmanship is honest and well executed but without intricate carvings or additional precious woods (root wood, multicolored marquetry), so it sits in the range of "artisan-made production" furniture of the period, not among valuable antique pieces.

Measurements: Width 126; Depth 54; Overall Height 193; Height to top surface: 109;
Mirror: 42 x 58.
