Minolta X-700 with a 35-70mm lens, MD mount, for 35 mm film, in good physical condition and tested and in working order.
Description from the seller
The proposed device is in superb condition, it comes with its batteries and a quality 35/70 zoom with a constant aperture of f/3.5 and a Macro position.
Launched in 1981, the Minolta X-700 is a 35mm single-lens reflex camera that left its mark on the history of photography. This body enjoyed immense commercial success and became one of the most popular SLRs of the 1980s.
Its technical specifications were very advanced for the time, particularly with a Program mode:
Format: 35mm
Mount: Minolta MD
Shutter: Focal-plane shutter with metal curtains
Speeds: 4s to 1/1000s + Bulb
Light metering: TTL at full aperture, central-weighted
Modes: Manual, Auto (aperture priority),
Viewfinder: Pentaprism, 94% coverage
Flash: Hot shoe, X-sync at 1/60s
Power: 2 LR44 batteries
The X-700 stands out for its fully automatic Program mode, the famous MPS mode, a first for Minolta. This mode automatically adjusts the aperture and shutter speed for optimal exposure, provided you have a lens with an MD mount (and not MC). The body also offers an aperture-priority mode and a manual mode.
