Rare original page no. 8 of the David Balfour story, in watercolor.

Jacques Laudy was drawing the David Balfour story for the Tintin newspaper in 1952 (story by Yves Duval).

The page is in very good condition.
In 1980, Laudy reworked the original pages, correcting certain details for publication in album format at Distri BD. Some corrections with white paint are visible.

In the empty panels you can see traces of Laudy's pencil writing.
At the top of the page and on the back, Laudy added a few handwritten annotations such as "Balfour planche 8 - no. 31" (=Tintin 31 1952).
