The Marantz DV7600 is a high-quality, universal DVD and audiophile player that was launched in 2005. The model is known within the hi-fi community for its excellent performance in both multi-channel audio and video upscaling via HDMI. Because it's a universal player, it plays virtually any physical disk format with a strong focus on high-end audio.
Key specifications
Supported formats: DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, SACD (Super Audio CD) in stereo and multi-channel, CD, CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW and MP3.
Video processing: Equipped with a powerful 216MHz/12-bit video DAC and a built-in video scaler that can upscale images to 720p and 1080i via HDMI.
Audio-processing: Equipped with a Cirrus Logic 192kHz/24-bit audio DAC for all 6 channels.
HDAM Modules: Uses Marantz's own, high-quality High Definition Amplifier Modules (HDAM) on the output stairs for analog, warm sound quality.
Pure Direct: A special audiophile mode that turns off all video circuits and the display to minimize any interference when listening to pure audio.
Connectivity: Features HDMI, Component, Scart, RS232c (for system integration) and 5.1 analog audio outputs to send multi-channel SACD/DVD-A directly to an amplifier.
