This high-quality hand-knotted Oriental rug from China features a classic Isfahan design. The light cream-colored inner field is medallion-free, fully decorated with finely drawn palmettes, blossoms, leaves, and flowing arabesques.

The dense pile of fine cork wool offers a soft feel and a subtle natural sheen. The knotting on a silk warp allows particularly detailed and precise elaboration of the floral pattern.

A wide wine-red main border with large floral ornaments, as well as several narrow auxiliary borders, frame the inner field harmoniously. The elegant color scheme in cream, wine red, dark blue, light blue, and muted natural tones gives the rug an elegant and timeless appearance.
