Mini Pipistrello produced by Martinelli Luce, in the larger twin version, for 50 years and is still today an icon of Italian design.
It is a table lamp characterized by the elusive shape of the conical base that rises upward, widening into the ribs of the diffuser, like the wings of a bat.
The lamp is composed of the diffuser in opal methacrylate, a lamp body in metal and a base in dark brown painted metal.
The light source is LED and it is possible to turn the lamp on and off via the switch on the power cord.
Today the Pipistrello lamp is exhibited at MOMA NEW YORK.

The lamp is shipped in its original packaging, with tracked and insured shipping.

Mini Pipistrello prodotta da Martinelli Luce, nella versione gemella più grande, da 50 anni ed è ancora oggi un'icona del design italiano.
E´ una lampada da tavolo caratterizzata dalla forma sfuggente della base conica che si sviluppa verso l´alto allargandosi nelle nervature del diffusore, come lo spiegarsi delle ali di un pipistrello.
La lampada è composta dal diffusore in metacrilato opalino, da un corpo lampada in metallo e da una base in metallo verniciato marrone scuro.
La fonte luminosa è Led ed è possibile accendere e spegnere la lampada tramite l'interruttore posto sul cavo di alimentazione.
Oggi la lampada Pipistrello è esposta al MOMA DI NEW YORK.
