This is an original Italian motorsport trophy. It was awarded during the 92nd edition of the Targa Florio (the legendary car race in Sicily), which that year was run as a historic rally (the Targa Florio Historic Rally).
The recipient of the trophy finished in second place in the standings. And specifically in the Primo Raggruppamento (Class 1 / Group 1).
