Sculture 1 – Solid-form technique (furnace)

Sculpture in Murano blown glass, produced with the solid-form technique, depicting a hand in the 'V' gesture (victory/peace), created by Master Fabio Tagliapietra. The body of the hand is in transparent glass with calibrated air-bubble inclusions, traversed by color bands in whole canes: amber/yellow and cobalt blue along the two raised fingers, turquoise and milky white on the index, red and emerald green in the area of the folded knuckle. Base in black glass, circular."The solid-form technique, worked directly in the furnace starting from a single molten-glass “elbow,” yields solid volumes and color continuity between parts, typical of large-format Murano statuary."
