Graetz - Moderato 6 Tube radio

For sale a splendid floor-standing radio cabinet (Musikschrank) model Graetz Moderato 6 1218, original from the early 60s (made in Germany, Altena).
An authentic mid-century design piece, perfect as a striking furnishing element for modern living rooms or vintage enthusiasts.
Valve radio perfectly functioning
The chassis powers on, the talking glass scale lights up and is intact.
Excellent reception of today’s radio stations on the FM band (UKW).
Warm and enveloping sound guaranteed by the four built-in speakers.
Automatic turntable perfectly functioning, at the time replaced with a solid British BSR mechanism with long spindle (records descend in automatic sequence). The platter spins and the cabinet light works regularly, warm sound
The front panel and the acoustic fabric are in splendid condition. The conical legs are stable. It shows some chips on the lower edge of the wood at the rear part (see photo) and the rear upper protective cardboard is missing.
Pickup only in person in the area at the buyer’s expense (given the weight of about 35 kg).
