Leica M4 Rangefinder camera

An iconic and mechanically excellent Leica M4 rangefinder camera. This model is loved for its fast film transport system and an exceptionally bright viewfinder with framelines for 35mm, 50mm, 90mm, and 135mm lenses. This particular specimen is in very nice cosmetic and mechanical condition.

Optical condition & Viewfinder:
The viewfinder is clear and the framelines are sharp and clearly visible. There are a few microscopic specks of dust visible in the viewfinder image/on the framelines. This is absolutely normal for an unmodified camera of this age and obviously has no influence on operation or the pictures. Cosmetic condition: Fine, with light, normal signs of use consistent with the age.

Mechanical condition: The shutter speeds sound excellent to the ear and run smoothly.
Shutter curtain: The shutter curtain is in very fine and tight condition.
