Art Deco table crumb scoop and brush set (often historically referred to as a "silent butler" or table crumber.
In upscale 19th and early 20th-century formal dining, table sweepers like this were essential hospitality tools. Between courses—specifically right before dessert was brought out—a butler or server would walk around the dining table. Holding the geometric tray flat against the edge of the wood or tablecloth, they used the matching long-handled brush to sweep up stray breadcrumbs, keeping the dining environment perfectly tidy.
