Description from the seller
In this lot an excellent vintage slide projector with a compact and linear design: the Voigtländer VP 135 A, designed in Germany by the famous and historic Voigtländer manufacture and marketed from the second half of the 1970s. This solid unit is intended for home projection of classic slides mounted on standard 35mm frames (5x5 cm). Equipped with a semi-automatic linear carriage advancement system and a robust electrical circuit, it represents a reliable tool for lovers of analog photography who wish to rediscover their photographic archives on the big screen, as well as a refined display piece for collectors of the brand.
The lot presents in good overall condition, with normal and light signs of use consistent with its age, and it has been tested and is functioning, complete with its accessory cables and a linear slide carrier.
Optics: The projector mounts an original high-definition projection lens Voigtländer Voigtar 85mm f/2.8 (Lens Made in Germany). The lenses are in good condition and free of surface scratches. A slight and normal presence of internal dust is noted, a completely physiological feature for vintage devices that does not affect the visual quality or brightness of the projection. Manual focus is operational.
Mechanical and Electrical: Tested and perfectly functioning. The electrical system responds correctly to commands: the internal lamp turns on regularly and the cooling fan starts up without hesitation. The linear carriage mechanism for inserting, transporting, and sequentially advancing the slide frames works smoothly via the included hand-wired control.
Aesthetics: Good overall condition, as clearly documented by the photographs. The rigid black and dark gray plastic housing is well preserved, free of cracks or structural breaks, and shows only light and normal signs of wear and superficial handling. The logo and the vintage inscription "Voigtländer VP 135 A" on the front are sharp and fully legible.
Included in the lot are the Voigtländer VP 135 A projector, the original mains power cable, the wired remote/controls for advancement, and a linear slide carrier (slide magazine).
Tracked international shipping, fully insured and professionally super-protective packing to ensure maximum safety during transport.
