Chest of drawers - larch wood

Larch wood drawer from an antique Tuscan typography.
Time and work have left on it a fascinating patina.
The drawer is from the 1930s, in larch wood; it is very sturdy and made with care; precise mortise-and-tenon joints and a thick 1 cm back panel.
This has led, once typographic use stopped, someone to wisely reuse it as a support for a painting.
The oil painting represents a
"Sailboat in a stormy sea" so the drawer can be used as a storage tray or as a frame.

If you want to rest many heavy objects, it is advisable to replace the old cross screws of the handle with through screws and a nut.
