Beautiful and decorative English antique fireplace screen, executed in a characteristic late Victorian/early Edwardian style, probably dating from about 1890–1910.
The screen consists of several hinged panels and is equipped with an elegant brass surround with fine-mesh metal mesh. The panels have a nicely curved, bow-shaped upper section, which gives the whole a particularly stylish and balanced appearance.
