Junghans wall clock in Art Deco style, wooden case dating to 1935, with a mechanical 8-day movement and a gong strike every half hour, weighing about 5 kg.
Description from the seller
Clock from the renowned German brand Junghans.
The case made of noble wood in a classical Art Deco style.
The wood is finished with varnish,
beautifully highlighting the grain and giving the wood a warm, luxurious sheen.
The top glass is flat, behind it a clear large dial.
The lower glass is in the form of a stained-glass panel with beveled edges.
In the crown there are beautiful carvings.
The dial is in very good condition with no damage and only minimal signs of use.
The pendulum is covered with an old patina.
The clock is dated October 1935 (this is evidenced by two digits stamped on the mechanism - 10 denotes the month and 35 the year of production). Junghans dated its clocks this way.
The clock runs and chimes correctly; it is on proper time.
Three-gong chime, beautifully striking halves and hours.
The key is included.
Overall condition is very good,
small signs of use are visible,
no damage.
All details shown in the photos.
Please note that after shipping every old clock may require a minor adjustment. If needed, I am happy to help.
