Elegant set of 6 round Epoca Transatlantic dinner mats, originally supplied to the first-class salons of the historic shipping company "Italia Società di Navigazione". The plates feature a sober, rigorous line typical of early 20th-century naval design, with a smooth rim slightly raised and decorated by a thin concentric flute on the outer edge. On the rims are the manufacturing hallmarks. In good condition: they show a beautiful glossy patina with signs of superficial wear, usage scratches, and traces of oxidation, especially on the back, attesting to their onboard history and authenticity.
