JOUSTRA. Lorraine Tank. Battery-powered toy made of tin and plastic. Height 13 cm, Width 14 cm, Length 26 cm.
After World War II, France rebuilt itself and adopted a new tank: the AMX50. In 1952, a smaller tank prototype was considered but abandoned: the Lorraine at 40 tonnes. However, in homage to General de Gaulle, the company JOUSTRA (Toys/Strasbourg) produced from 1958 for about ten years this famous Lorraine toy tank.
In good condition but untested.
