Switzerland 1848 - Large eagle, dark green, with arched border. - 7

Grosser Adler dark green in bright fresh colours, edges very widely cut all around, with a broad curved border on the left, on the reverse a minimal pinpoint pale spot, ideally centered, clearly and decoratively cancelled with a red Geneva rosette.
Genevan cantonal stamps with curved/bowed borders are major rarities: only very few specimens are known.
A dream piece of splendour and essentially in immaculate condition with ideal margins and cancellation, also with a curved border. A combination of rarity and beauty.
