Revox - C270 2 tracks Reel to reel deck 26 cm

I am putting up for auction one of the best tape recorders Revox has ever produced, a semi-professional machine of the highest quality that is rarely available for sale, a highly sought-after item by collectors.

The mechanics and design derive directly from the professional Studer A807, with a control layout and LED VU-meter arrangement that are very similar.
The recorder is 2-track, tape speed 19 cm/s.
It stood a notch above the PR99 model, representing the "swan song" of Revox’s reel-to-reel machines in the 1980s.
The unit is functional both in playback and recording and all functions are operational.

Although the unit is working, a general check would be appreciated since the last service was done about two years ago, and since then the machine has run very little as I have become passionate about music via the internet.

Aesthetically it presents in good condition with few signs of wear perfectly compatible with its age.
