The Sony STR-DA3600ES is a high-end 7.1-channel AV network receiver from Sony's well-known "Elevated Standard" (ES) product line. This model was released around 2010 and is specifically designed for serious home theater installations and network integration.

Main Specifications
Power: 100 Watts per channel (at 8 ohms, 1kHz, 0.09% THD).
Audio formats: Full support for HD audio codecs such as Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby Pro Logic IIz.
Video: Equipped with 4 HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI output. Supports 1080p upscaling, 3D pass-through and Audio Return Channel (ARC).
Network functions: Unique to this model is the built-in 4-port Ethernet switch, allowing the receiver to act as a network hub. In addition, it has DLNA support for streaming music and photos from a PC or NAS.
Calibration: Uses Sony's Digital Cinema Acoustic Calibration (DCAC) with Automatic Phase Matching (APM) to perfectly match the sound to the acoustics of the room.
