Silver 3 Mark coin corresponding to the Grand Duchy of Baden within the German Empire, with a left-profile portrait of the Grand Duke Friedrich II, executed in a realistic and sober style, with good modeling of the hair and facial features well defined. The reverse features the German imperial eagle with spread wings, with crown and central shield, showing a strong and balanced heraldic composition. The specimen retains full and well-defined reliefs, relatively clean fields and an attractive original luster with a light silver patina, with minimal surface marks typical of its grade, giving it a solid presence and a very representative example of the state issues from Germany prior to World War I.
