Devotional cross - 18th century, in white metal, handcrafted, finely chiselled and engraved.
The obverse features a crucified Christ under the INRI cartouche.
At the foot of the Cross is a representation of Saint Mary Magdalene, recognizable by her contemplative posture and the small cross she holds between her hands.
The reverse is entirely decorated with symbols of the Passion of Christ and engraved Christian emblems, among which the fish (Ichthys) and various instruments of the Passion.
The piece shows a beautiful antique patina as well as the normal signs of wear for a piece of this period.
No hallmarks visible.
Good condition with old wear, original bail.
