Splendid and very rare collectible lot composed of a pocket-sized, dial-type mechanical calculator (arithmograph) model “Super-Simplex,” entirely produced in Italy between the 1930s and 1940s. This lot represents an extraordinary opportunity for collectors of scientific instruments, calculation devices, and retro modernia, as it presents a condition of “Full Set” (100% complete), an extremely rare occurrence for objects of this historical era.

Mechanical Calculator “Super-Simplex”: Flat metal body with engraved operation indicators for addition and subtraction. The industrial design is typical of the Italian rationalist period. The metal retains a wonderful patina of age and the figures are perfectly legible.
Original Metallic Stylus: The original metal sharp-pointed stylus, equipped with a knurled cap, perfectly seated inside its side bayonet-style housing (an accessory that almost always went missing).
Original Protective Case: Rigid shell with a black textured external finish, well preserved and structurally intact.
Original Printed Instruction Manual: The very rare period sheet titled “Norme per il buon uso della macchina calcolatrice ‘Super-Simplex’.” The paper document is original to the era, intact and fully legible, a museum piece given the risk of paper wear over the decades.
