Sony - TA-F333ESJ - 100V Solid state integrated amplifier

This Sony TA-F333ESJ has the kind of presence that makes an audio lover stop and look twice: a huge attenuator knob, densely arranged controls, twin top ventilation sections, and a wonderfully substantial 21.3 kg chassis. The black ES-series finish and rows of rear RCA terminals hint at evenings spent switching between records, CDs and tapes. A handsome piece of 1990s Japanese hi-fi engineering with plenty to catch the collector’s eye.

[Appearance]

The unit shows signs of age and normal use, including light scratches, small marks, dust, and some wear to the exterior surfaces. There are visible marks around the front panel and chassis, but the overall presentation remains attractive for a vintage amplifier of this age.

The large attenuator knob, selector controls, lettering, speaker terminals and rear connection panel retain a strong and purposeful appearance. The heavy chassis and broad ventilation openings give this amplifier the wonderfully serious feel associated with Sony’s ES-era components.
