Studio Biederer was a French photography studio from the interwar period run by brothers Jacques Biederer (born 1887; died 1942) and Charles Biederer (born 1892; died 1942) from Moravská Ostrava, now in the Czech Republic. Jacques moved to Paris in 1908. Charles followed him in 1913 to assist him as a photographer. The studio was located at 33 Boulevard du Temple, Paris. Published as Éditions Ostra, their photos in the 1920s and 1930s ranged from artistic nude photography to sexual fetish studies, including bondage, costumed role-playing, and erotic corporal punishments.
