AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

This unique glass object is a beautiful example of vintage Murano glass art, attributed to Cenedese, most likely made in the mid-20th century (1950s or 1960s) in Italy.

Technique: The piece is made with the famous Sommerso technique. Here, different layers of colored glass are blown on top of each other without the colors bleeding into each other, which creates the characteristic depth. This is clearly visible in the pink/cranberry tear-shaped core surrounded by a thick layer of smoke gray to dark purple glass, with an opening on top to put something in if desired.

Form and Designer: The organic, biomorphic leaf shape and the streamlined design strongly recall iconic designs from that period by renowned glass studios such as Seguso Vetri d'Arte, Archimede Seguso, or designer Flavio Poli.

Good condition, no chips, light scratches on the bottom and the black caps are felt pads.

Well packed and shipped with track and trace code.
