Rare set of six spoons made in solid silver, dating from the 17th to the 18th century in Florence.

In Florence, the processing of precious metals has been renowned since the 16th century, Europe and courts from that era have purchased the creations of the jewelers and silversmiths of Ponte Vecchio and the Grand Ducal Workshops; among the most famous are Lorenzo Ghiberti, Andrea Pisano, and Benvenuto Cellini.

All pieces bear two marks (shown in the photo):
- Stamp depicts a seated lion on top of an "F". stamp used in Florence between the 17th and 18th century
- Silversmith’s mark
