NAFTA 1931 round iron advertising sign from Italy, brand NAFTA, type advertising sign, in good used condition with signs of age, 53.5 cm in diameter.
Description from the seller
Very rare and authentic circular advertising plaque in stamped/embossed metal from the fascist era, dated 1931, belonging to the "NAFTA - Italian Company for Oil and Related Industries - Genoa" (company founded in Genoa in 1912 and later integrated into the Shell Italia group).
In the center stands out the large raised logo "NAFTA" in elongated letters typical of the Art Deco style of the era.
Made from heavy stamped iron sheet, with letters and numbers highlighted by white paint on a dark background
The item shows an excellent patina of time, with widespread superficial rust bloom and paint wear (visible in the photo), elements that confer the sign exceptional historical and collectible value. The inscriptions have been retraced in white (original color).
