This piece features exceptionally careful artisanal craftsmanship, with numerous engravings in Arabic script, astronomical graduations, computation lines, and finely worked openwork elements.
The astrolabe consists of several movable and decorative elements, notably a central rule and a pierced part reminiscent of the rete of traditional astrolabes.
