Technics SL-PD687 – 5-Disc MASH CD Changer – fully tested + new remote control
Description
Offered is a Technics SL-PD687 5-disc rotary CD changer in nice and fully functioning condition.
The SL-PD687 features Technics' MASH technology and a five-CD carousel. The unit includes, among others, normal playback, programming, repeat, random play and Full Random, where tracks from the different inserted CDs are played randomly.
The unit has been thoroughly cleaned and extensively tested. To not just perform a short functional test, this player ran continuously for about 16 hours in total:
- about 8 hours of normal playback, with the player started and kept playing for the entire test;
- followed by about 8 hours in Full Random mode, continuously switching randomly between tracks and the different CDs.
During both endurance tests the player showed no problems. The CDs were read, played and swapped correctly, and the carousel mechanism functioned without issues.
The display is bright and clearly legible, and all controls work correctly.
Included is a brand-new compatible remote control (spare). This is therefore not a used original Technics remote, but a new replacement remote.
Cosmetically the unit is in nice used condition. See the photos for the exact exterior condition; these are part of the description.
For shipping it will be sent in a new double-walled carton box.
