AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Very beautiful and authentic polished axe or herminette in dolerite from the Neolithic period, originating from Morbihan (56) in France.
Very beautiful patina and polishing.
We find remains of bouchardage that have not been completely polished on both sides of the axe.
Some very light signs of use on the edge.
The edge is a bit off-center and the shape leans more towards a herminette rather than a classic polished axe in the strict sense.

Dimensions :
Length: 14.1 cm
Max width: 5.3 cm
Max thickness: 2.8 cm

An inscription indicates "Morbihan" on the piece.
