Pair of Vintage 1960s La Serenissima Murano Sommerso Glass Candle Holders – Red & Amber
A striking pair of original La Serenissima Murano art glass tea light holders, featuring heavy, geometric forms with thick faceted clear glass and richly colored red and amber/brown interiors.
The bold faceted design and layered colour are characteristic of Murano Sommerso glass, producing exceptional depth and changing reflections as the pieces are viewed from different angles. The red one retains its original black-and-gold La Serenissima Murano – Made in Italy label.
A particularly impressive, substantial pair with strong Mid-Century Modern / Italian glass appeal.
