In terms of design and decoration, very modern and progressive. A beautifully brightly colored floral decoration laid out in a stylized pattern against a black background, and equipped with gilded bands. The decoration is called Mikado. And it also has somewhat of a Japanese look in its appearance.

A quintessential Art Deco piece in earthenware!

In good condition, the gilding near the handle a bit worn.
