Description from the seller
This piece is an original electrical danger warning sign, made of enameled metal sheet (porcelanized) or lithographed between the 1940s and 1960s.
embossed relief or die-cut of the metal.
• Shine and color: The white background and the yellow of the skull remain clean and with hardly any sun fading.
• Absence of serious damage: Many of these field-rescued signs show bent corners, large chips in the enamel, or even pellet or bullet holes from hunters. The piece retains its flat relief and the four original mounting holes in the corners intact. [
• Controlled rust: It only shows light surface rust spots on the outer edge and the screw holes, something completely normal and that gives it the vintage authenticity patina that buyers seek.
