Splendid hand-engraved cameo on a Cassis Madagascariensis shell depicting a profile of a woman; the presence of the musical instrument allows associating the figure with the iconography of Euterpe, one of the nine Muses of Greek mythology, patroness of music and poetic art. Made and signed by an engraver from Torre del Greco.
