Chest - Wood - Large box

A large and superb wooden box or chest on four ball feet, with hinged lid, made of various wood varieties, with four lathed columns in the corners and reverse carved neoclassical relief to all panels, the lid decorated with foliate intarsia in three different wood veneers. Measuring circa 37,3cm in length and weighing 4164g.

Condition: Very good, lock and key in good working order. Small old repair at the back bottom ledges, minor wear. Please see pictures for an impression. Overall a very impressive piece.
