AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Antique carved oak side table or stool, which bears the classic colonial (and neo-renaissance) style features.
The main features of the furniture:
Barley twist legs: The legs and the braces connecting them are made with a characteristic, spirally twisted turning, which became extremely popular in the neo-style furniture of later eras, modeled on 17th century English (Jacobin/Charles II era) furniture.
Carved details: Hand-carved floral or geometric decorations can be seen on the cube-shaped joints (blocks) of the legs and on the edge of the table top.
Function: Due to its design, it is excellently suitable as a side table (for example, as a coffee table, flower stand or telephone table), but due to its solid structure it can also be used as a traditional footrest bench or seat (joint stool).
It is in good condition for its age, stable, no major repairs or signs of use, just the signs of time.

We can post it carefully packaged, in an insured, registered package.
