Elegant and imposing vintage table lamp by Kullmann, executed in a classic combination of gold-colored brass and transparent plastic/acrylic.
The lamp has a particularly decorative construction. The heavy, square base consists of several stepped brass-colored levels, above which a thick transparent plastic/acrylic plate sits. From this base runs a clear cylindrical column upward, in which the brass-colored central rod remains visible. The combination of transparent material and polished brass gives the lamp a luxurious and airy appearance.
The base and connections are richly profiled with rounded brass-colored rings. Especially the large square pedestal and the transparent column give the design a pronounced Hollywood Regency / neoclassical look, typical for luxurious interior lighting from the second half of the 20th century.
The lamp is offered complete with the large cream-colored drum shade with dark/gold-colored metal trim. When the lamp is lit, this shade radiates a pleasantly warm and atmospheric light.
